This Participant Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Hootology, Inc. (“Hootology”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and you, the participant (“you” or “your”).  

By clicking “I Accept” below, you agree to participate in the research, and you certify that you are at least 18 years of age and have read, fully understand and agree to the following:

     · Purpose of the Research: We are conducting research through our online technology platform (“HootAI”) for internal and business purposes, product, program, or service development, or market research for our clients (the “Permitted Purposes”). 

    · What We’ll Collect: In connection with the Permitted Purposes, Hootology will collect your feedback, comments, survey responses, concepts, and ideas as well as age, ethnicity, gender, and similar identifying information that you provide through your written responses to questions in HootAI (“Feedback”).  This Feedback will be aggregated and anonymized before being shared with our clients.  All Feedback or other information you share with us will be treated with care in accordance with our information security policy.

   · Rights to Your Feedback: You grant Hootology a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use all Feedback for the Permitted Purpose, without notice or acknowledgment to you and you further assign to Hootology all rights, title, and interest you have related to your participation in the research and any resulting materials.

     · Voluntary Participation: Your participation in this research is entirely voluntary and you may withdraw from the research at any time by simply closing your browser window, however, this Agreement will remain in effect and apply to any Feedback you provided prior to your early withdrawal.

     · Compensation: Upon your complete and full participation in the research, you will receive the agreed upon compensation unless you are participating in this research through a panel provider, in which case, any compensation you receive will be provided through such panel provider.  If you withdraw before completing the research, you will not be eligible for any compensation.
